New details about Lady Gaga and fiancé Michael Polansky’s first child together have emerged one week after news broke that they are parents.
The couple welcomed a baby girl named Rose Bean Polansky, according to the birth certificate obtained by TMZ on Thursday, September 17.
The outlet also revealed that Gaga’s daughter was born on June 9 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

News broke on Friday, September 11, that Gaga, 40, and Polansky, 42, quietly welcomed their first baby sometime this year.
That same day, photos of the Grammy winner holding a baby while on a walk with her partner were published by Page Six, seemingly confirming their little one’s arrival.
Gaga, who has been engaged to Polansky since 2024, has been vocal over the years about her desire to be a mother.
“I really hope that when I have maybe a little girl one day, or a little boy, and they see mommy put her makeup on, that they have the same experience that I did [with my mom],” she told Allure in July 2019. “That’s the greatest gift of all, when you can connect with your parents.”
That December, when Gaga was already dating Polansky, the “Poker Face” singer outlined her 10-year plan, pointing to parenthood as one of the many things she wanted to add to her résumé.
“I want to do more movies, I want to have babies and I want to continue to build the behemoth that is Haus Laboratories into the makeup company of my dreams,” she said in a YouTube video.
Gaga even predicted what her life would be like as a mom one year before welcoming her baby girl.
“Disappear? I don’t think so. But look, I think music will be a part of our child’s life,” she explained on an episode of The Howard Stern Show when asked whether she wanted to step back from the spotlight after becoming a parent. “I also have to see what it’s like and what our kid needs, you know?”
The Joker actress told Howard Stern that she was hopeful that her future kids would have “a very safe and happy childhood.”
Gaga noted that her little ones would “become my No. 1 priority” when the time comes.
While neither Gaga nor Polansky has publicly commented on their growing family, the musician previously gushed about finding The One in the venture capitalist.
“I had never met anyone like Michael. He’s so smart and so kind. And his life and my life are very different,” Gaga told Vogue in September 2024. “He’s a very private guy and he’s not with me for any other reason than that we are right for each other. I think what I want my fans to know is that I’m just, like, so happy. I’m healthy.”
