Ryan Gosling finally ate his cereal — and for a sweet reason! The La La Land actor paid tribute to the late Vine star Ryan McHenry in his very own video on Monday, May 4.
Filmmaker McHenry is best known for creating the 2013 viral meme "Ryan Gosling Won't Eat His Cereal," which features several movie clips of the hunky star looking disgusted and backing away slowly from the breakfast treat. McHenry's Twitter account announced on Monday that he had died at age 27 from cancer. He was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in July 2013.
In Gosling's video, he pours a cup of cereal and milk into a bowl. Without saying a word, he lifts his spoon to McHenry before taking a big bite.
"My heart goes out to all of Ryan McHenry's family and friends," Gosling, 34, tweeted. "Feel very lucky to have been apart of his life in some small way."
