Worst experience ever?! Ryan Gosling once took a break from his hectic schedule to relax with a Turkish massage — but he never expected that it would result in a mouthful of a hairy belly.
The father of two shared the “awful experience” during a hilarious appearance on The Graham Norton Show on Friday, May 20.
“I had an awful experience having a Turkish massage, where this guy’s idea of massage was to take one leg and the other arm and try to connect it behind my back,” he recounted. “And then his belly went in my mouth.”
Between roars of laughter from the audience, the Big Short actor further explained the disgusting details of his encounter.
“And you know when you get something weird in your mouth and, if you’re eating something, your brain sends your tongue to figure out what it is? It’s not a conscious thought,” he joked. “My tongue was like, ‘What is that?’ It’s a hairy belly!”
Although the massage was far from relaxing for Gosling, his Nice Guys costar Russell Crowe, who also appeared on the British talk show on Friday, couldn’t stifle his chuckles.
Last month, Gosling and girlfriend Eva Mendes welcomed their second child together, a girl named Amada. The happy couple, who met on the set of The Place Beyond the Pines in 2011, are also parents of daughter Esmeralda, 20 months.
