Scott Disick was more than surprised to learn his longtime girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian was expecting for the third time on Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. After telling Kourtney, who is mom to their two kids Mason, 4, and Penelope, 2, that she’s “suckering” him into “these kids,” the self-described Lord went missing for a night and left his pregnant love seriously worried.
While Scott told Kourtney she’s “sneaky” when it comes to revealing her pregnancies, the expecting reality star admitted to the camera that she was indeed nervous to tell her boyfriend because he’s dealing with the recent deaths of his parents. “I definitely had to build up the courage to tell Scott because he has been just super depressed and I don't want to set him off,” she said.
Despite being a caring and loving father already, Scott admitted himself he’s scared to take on more responsibility. “I barely feel like I can take care of myself, I am hanging on by a string here,” he said.
The Lord then went out with a friend and failed to return home. “I am glad you are home safe but it is not okay, you have a family. You can't just … not contact us, that is crazy,” a distraught Kourtney tells him once he finally returns home the following day.
“I definitely feel horrible for putting Kourtney through a rough time when she is pregnant but I did not want to get back to reality,” the depressed star later admitted. “I did not want to face anybody, there is a lot on me right now, especially given what I have dealt with in the last year.”
Although clearly shocked to learn they’re expecting baby No. 3, Disick came around to the idea of their growing family. “I am scared, yes, but God willing like every other child I have had they will be an amazing blessing in my life,” he told the camera. “I need to relax and enjoy the third time around.”
Disick's father Jeffrey died this past January just two months after his mom Bonnie passed away. Over the summer, the reality star was hospitalized for alcohol poisoning. A source told Us at the time that Disick “went through a dark place but is doing great now."
