Following his split from Kourtney Kardashian, newly single dad Scott Disick has reunited with his three kids since his return to L.A., multiple sources confirm to Us Weekly.
Disick, 32, was seen on Wednesday, July 22, taking his eldest son, Mason, to Barnes & Noble in Calabasas, Calif. The father-son duo were snapped walking out of the store with toys in hand. Disick then took his mini-me to dinner at local eatery Rosti Tuscan Kitchen.
Sources tell Us that while Disick is no longer speaking with Kardashian, the self-proclaimed Lord has made valiant attempts to keep in touch with their three kids, Mason, 5, Penelope, 3, and Reign, 7 months.
One insider tells Us that Disick has been FaceTiming his children daily, while another source adds that he's been seeing the kids since his return to L.A. He also spent time with the children last Wednesday, while their mom was supporting Caitlyn Jenner at the ESPYS.
Meanwhile, Kardashian has been meeting with top Hollywood divorce attorney, "disso queen" Laura Wasser, as she seeks sole custody of the kids, a source exclusively confirmed to Us on Wednesday. The reality star first started exploring her legal options over the weekend of July 4. She and Disick currently do not have a formal custody arrangement in place.
Kardashian met again with Wasser on Monday, July 20. "[She] is going to seek sole custody of the kids," the insider told Us. (Wasser has previously worked with Kardashian's sisters Kim and Khloe on their divorces from Kris Humphries and Lamar Odom, respectively.) The same source continued, "There's no turning back now, and she is going full steam ahead with figuring out an agreement."
Another source added to Us in the new issue that the eldest Kardashian daughter, 36, is determined to protect Mason, Penelope, and Reign from their dad's downward spiral, currently fueled by booze, drugs, and other such vices.
While she seeks sole custody, Kourtney still wants the kids to see their dad, the second source tells Us, adding that she will do everything in her power to ensure that they maintain that relationship.
