Nothing compares 2…Barry!
Sinead O'Connor is getting married on Thursday — her 45th birthday — to beau Barry Herridge, she announced on her blog.
"With enormous joy myself and my beloved boyfriend Barry Herridge will be getting married tomorrow, December 8th 2011 at 'an un-disclosed location' in my absolute dream wedding ceremony," the Irish singer wrote Wednesday. "We will post a photo or two here on the site as soon as possible afterward. Very happy girl. : ) "
Fellow Ireland native Herridge is said to be a children's addiction counselor, according to the Irish Independent.
It will be the fourth marriage for the "Nothing Compares 2 U" singer, whose ex-husbands include music producer John Reynolds, journalist Nicholas Sommerlad and musician Steve Cooney; she has four children.
Irish papers report that O'Connor's Thursday nuptials may go down in Las Vegas.
As recently as September, the provocative star appeared to be single; she wrote in a blog post that she was "desperate for sex…I am in the peak of my sexual prime and way too lovely to be living like a nun, and it's very depressing."
