Soul Train's Don Cornelius Dead at 75 of Apparent Suicide

Don Cornelius, the man behind Soul Train, was found dead in his Sherman Oaks, Calif. home early Wednesday morning, TMZ reports.
At 75, the creator of the iconic music TV show is believed to have taken his own life; he died from a gunshot wound to the head.
TMZ reports he was pronounced dead at the hospital. In court in 2009 for divorce proceedings, Cornelius complained of "significant health issues."
