How Taylor Armstrong Found Out About Russell's Suicide

It's a horrifying moment that Taylor Armstrong will never forget.
An insider confirms to Us Weekly that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 40, was present at the same L.A. residence on Monday where the body of her estranged husband Russell was discovered.

Russell, 47, hanged himself in a private residence on L.A.'s Mulholland Drive, the LAPD confirmed to Us on Tuesday.
Over the weekend, according to the source, Taylor grew concerned when she had not heard from Russell (father to her daughter Kennedy, 5) for several days. Finally, at the urging of a pal, the reality star and her assistant went to the house to check in on Russell; another friend on the premises then discovered Russell's body.

The L.A. Coroner was in the process of examining Russell's body on Tuesday.
"Taylor Armstrong is devastated at the tragic events that have unfolded," her rep told Us in a statement on Tuesday. "She requests privacy at this time so that she may comfort her young daughter."
Taylor filed for divorce on July 15 from Russell, citing physical and verbal abuse.

"Russell was dealing with a heavy amount of emotional and familial distress. His life was in shambles," another insider explained to Us.

I feel sorry for the little girl. She herself was extremely quiet & shy but a real Daddy's girl. She always perked up when Daddy was around. Explaining to her about her Daddy is NOT going to be an easy thing & I would not want to be that person. When she grows up she will find out the real truth & that is when Taylor will feel the REAL brunt of her actions. She will just find another sucker with $$$ that wants a trophy wife & she will be just fine folks.

Russell is the exact profile of a man that either commits suicide , kills his whole family ,goes "postal"on a killing spree.All of you reading this comment probably know someone like him.They are not just quiet,they are creepy quiet.This person doesn't say things out of line but you get the feeling they are not saying what they are REALLY thinking.You get the feeling there are menacing dark thoughts going on in their mind.I am sure Taylor was telling the truth about him physically abusing her and she is lucky he didn't take her and the daughter with him.He used women as a trophy but women used him for money so I guess that makes it even.
I don't get why Taylor is all upset... a few weeks ago she was bad mouthing him all over the media.
So will Bravo cancel this season or edit him out? I actually hope not. If you are going to call the show "reality" then keep it real. I feel there are all kinds of lessons to be learned here. I lost a family member to suicide - it's horrible. If showing somebody who is considering suicide what it does to the survivors and changes his/her mind, it would be worth it. There also is a valuable lesson to be learned here about money and financial troubles. This country obviously idolizes money more than what is really important. Ultimately it should be up to the Armstrong family but I'm just saying as a survivor if I make something positive with my situation, I would.

Does anyone really watch this crap? I find it hard to believe anyone with a brain would waste time on this type of show. THis womans face looks distorted in every picture. This man suffered from exposure as a result of she airing his private life, which was probably lies anyway. How could anyone fight that level of hype? Appalling show, actors, YUCH

He chose to do the show. He was not forced. He could have easily not consented. The Osbournes' oldest daughter chose not to be on the show and was not shown.
Erica you are rude she filed for divorce due to physical and verbal abuse there was issues before the show you could cleary tell . I pray for her and all the family involved!!! He obviously had issues before hand !! I dont think the show made him to it!!! No one can explain Suicide!!!

As far as what the News said, the reality was all her idea and he did not want to do it. The News also said she went to his house with the owner and the owner saw the body from the window, it's not like she went to his room and found him. Already PR starting. I don't like her, and I feel very sad for their daughter, and anyone who really cared for him. RIP
it is truly sad but i feel he was pushed to it, he was embarrassed by everything that was happening between him and his wife..people shud learn from this and try to work personal problems out of the publics eye..
