Taylor Swift: Kanye's Apology "Was Sincere"

When Kanye West phoned Taylor Swift Sept. 15 to apologize for interrupting her at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, it was heartfelt, the singer says.

"I've been alive for 19-and-a-half years, and I've experienced a few different kinds of apologies, and that one was sincere," she said on SIRIUS XM's Morning Mash Up radio show Friday.
In addition to issuing two apologies on his blog, West, 32, also told Jay Leno he was planning to "take some time off" to try to understand why he made his latest outburst.

Said the rapper, "I'm just ashamed that my hurt caused someone else's hurt."
