Taylor Swift Slams Ex Harry Styles in Opening Number at Grammys 2013

Sounds like someone’s got a message for Harry Styles! Taylor Swift opened up the 2013 Grammy Awards with a white-and-red circus-themed performance of her hit “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” and the songstress took her center-stage opportunity to take a jab at her British ex.

“So he calls me up and he’s like, ‘I still love you,’ and I’m like, ‘I’m sorry, I’m busy opening up the Grammys,'” she deadpanned in the middle of her song, using a British accent at an obvious nod toward Styles, 19. “And we’re never getting back together, like, ever.”

Swift, 23, gave her performance in a white top hat, long white tuxedo jacket and leg-baring shorts, stalking around the set surrounded by circus performers on stilts.

The “Red” singer and her One Direction beau parted ways earlier this year after a holiday getaway to the British Virgin Islands went sour.

“They had a fight,” a source told Us at the time of the ill-fated couple, adding that Styles “said something he shouldn’t have … This [breakup] is definitely going to be for good.”

The country singer recently revealed that she’ll be having a ball on Valentine’s Day despite her public split.

“I’m probably going to be with my friends or rehearsing…I’ll be like working on the lighting rig and like, the lighting cues,” she told Ryan Seacrest in a radio interview on Thursday, Feb. 7. “And I don’t think I’d rather be anywhere else to be honest.”
