Never forget. On the same day her close friend Big Ang passed away, Teresa Giudice took to social media to pay tribute to the “good times” she had with the beloved Mob Wives personality.
Uploading a sweet snapshot of herself with Big Ang (née Angela Raiola) to Instagram on Thursday, February 18, Giudice, 43, wrote: “Such sad news, gone away too soon. Rest in peace angel. #kisstheonesyoulove”
As Us Weekly previously reported, Big Ang was diagnosed with throat cancer last March. She died at age 55 at 3:01 a.m. at a New York City hospital after a brave battle with stage IV lung and brain cancer on Thursday.
In a follow-up ‘gram, the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member posted another pic with an equally touching message. “Remembering the good times @biggangvh1,” she shared of her fellow reality star. “Thinking of your family #godbless”
When news first broke of Big Ang’s death, Giudice gave her condolences in an emotional tweet. “She was certainly one of a kind and such a beautiful person,” she reminisced. “Prayers for her & her family.”
Prior to her death, Big Ang opened up on the Dr. Oz Show about how she was able to cope with her dire diagnosis.
“I stay positive,” she said during the interview, which aired on Tuesday, February 16. “I try to stay positive. I look at my kids and my grandchildren and I know how much they need me.”
