TMZ has obtained some illuminating new details from an eyewitness on the scene. The golfer was lying on the ground unconscious, with a bloody cut on his lower lip, when EMT workers arrived.

The witness added that Elin was "extremely upset" and was asked to stand back twice while the medical pros worked on Woods.

The couple's lawyer recently confirmed that they have no plans to speak with Florida Highway Patrol about the incident in question. Woods said in a statement Sunday, "the only person responsible for this accident is me. My wife, Elin, acted courageously when she saw I was hurt and in trouble. She was the first person to help me. Any other assertion is absolutely false."

Not ALL MEN are cheaters! There are many men in the world that are deeply committed to their wives! More people should be committed to their relationship and not cheat. Cheating is just stupid. IF Tiger cheated, the world will forgive him. The world is fickle with their hate towards cheaters.
My first comment is all men do not cheat! That is a very ignorant statement. However, all the people coming out of the woodwork saying that they have spent time with Tiger Woods, sure are making him look really guilty. If the stories are true, then I guess his wife has alot of important decisions to make. What makes it all worse is that it appears to be not just a one time deal, that possibly this has been going on for years and that he did not go to his wife and confess his infidelity. If he did not want to be married, then he should of went to his wife and told her so, and not put her and their children through this nightmare. I know that Tiger Woods is a celebrity, but I hope that people will step back and let them have their privacy.With all that said though, (celebrity or not) if you do not make stupid decisions then people should not have negative things to say about you. On that same note, if you make good decisions then hopefully people will speak positive things about you. Lots of money and fame can contribute to people making really bad decisions.A good lesson for everyone, especially celebrities is watch out for those tempting enviroments we put ourselves in!

with all the bad news these days, this story was real pick me up. I got a few chuckles off this one. Tiger is rich hog. Tiger Woods used the most drinking water in Palm Beach (3.7 million gallons of water in a year)to service the pools and fountains on his estate. That alone deserves a beating from a mad sweed with a golf club. Maybe his wife should have played in the golf match, she's got a good swing.

My brother told me once that if I was looking for a man who would never cheat I was crazy and he wished me good luck. He said that there are so many women out there that throw themself at married men. Dont they realize carma is a B.... and one day they will also be married and it would suck if their husband was out cheating. Dont they realize how much they will hurt the wife or children. Frankly, the tabloids, TMZ, HLN Jane V Mitchell, Showbiz Tonight, Nancy Grace and others have become disgusting with their reporting. Nancy Grace a tv hostess acts as if she is a jury & judge, for the past 2 nites spent almost an hour talking, bashing Tiger Woods. These shows bringing on panels to discuss gossip....all in the name of ratings. One trying to out do the other with "bombshells and breaking news". After helping destroy one life....they move on to the next like vultures, one trying to top the other one's story without any shame AT ALL. Such perfect people.
