Tom Cruise: Suri, 5, Was "Born" With Great Style

Suri Cruise isn't a sartorial copycat.
The fashionable 5-year-old -- who's been known to rock faux fur jackets and kitten heels over the years -- has an innate sense of style, according to her dad Tom Cruise.

"She was just born that way. I don't know what to say," a proud Cruise, 49, told Us Weekly at the Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol premiere in NYC Monday. "She really creates her own outfits."
Adding that Suri "dresses herself," Cruise said his wife Katie Holmes, 33, has helped curate their daughter's love of clothes.

"Katie has her create things and sew and stuff like that. It's kind of amazing," Cruise said. "It's beautiful. It's really beautiful."
Holmes -- who recently admitted to coordinating outfits with her celeb BFF Victoria Beckham -- also helps her action star hubby get dressed for red carpet events.

"Whatever my wife wants me to wear, I wear," Cruise laughed. "It's simple. She has amazing taste."

The thing I find most annoying other than nutty Tom and family, are the people who hang on every thing he does. He's not a very good actor who got lucky with a couple of nice parts in some good movies. Check them out, he plays his characters in the exact same way every time. Suri is going to be so screwed up as an adult that she'll make Michael Jackson seem like Colin Powell. I feel sorry for the family because they don't have a clue. SAD

Let's not forget you are all talking about a child. If this were your child you wouldn't want someone saying things like that about him/her. If you don't have anything nice to say don't say it all. Treat others as you would want to be treated. It is as easy as that. Suri is a beautiful little girl and she is not what you think she is.

sorry,but this spoiled child makes me sick. She isnt old enough to create any of her own ideas. Her parents treat her like she has all the control and for some reason she needs to be carried some of the time,like walking is too much for her precious feet. Sorry too much bad things going on these days to keep hearing about children who dont have a clue as to what life is really like. Never did like Mr.Cruise and dont get Katie at all.

If not for a crazy mother, we might have been just like little Suri, but I wonder if Suri will develop or has what Tom Cruise has Dyslexia?????? Do you think? Those types are very fashion conscious!

Suri Cruise reminds me of Veruca Salt in "Willy Wonka." Normally I don't think it's always fair to pick on famous people's kids, but let's be honest: Suri Cruise is one who deserves it. She's the archetypal spoiled rich brat that people just want to choke!
If there hadn't been so much dysfunction, I would have been just like Suri, believe me when I say that, but because of my stylish ego driven mother, I lost out of what Suri has, and couldn't have been me, my father was the Tom Cruise of the Lace industry and designed women's underwear and stockings, so like Suri, I had it in me, Thanks Mother Dearest for detaching my umbilical chord long before I was born.
