Vanessa Hudgens visited her father Greg Hudgen’s grave with her mother, Gina, on Monday, February 22. The High School Musical alum, 27, shared a photo from their visit on Instagram.
“Visiting pops with mama g,” she captioned the snap.
Greg Hudgens passed away at the age of 65 on Saturday, January 30, after battling cancer. “I am so sad to say that last night my daddy, Greg passed away from stage 4 cancer,” Vanessa shared the next day. “Thank you to everyone who kept him in your prayers."
Later that night, the songstress gained a whole new fan base after she performed for 12.2 million viewers during FOX’s Grease: Live.
“Tonight, I do the show in his honor,” she tweeted prior to the Sunday, January 31, telecast. At the time, a source told Us it was “incredibly hard for” Vanessa, but as a performer, “it was on with the show.”
Last week the actress shared an equally touching Instagram. “My mom found this picture of my dad and I,” she captioned an adorable throwback photo. “He would have hated that I'm sharing this but I think it's just too cute.”
