Duchess Kate will be back in a bikini asap!
Although Prince William and his brand-new bride delayed their honeymoon for a tad — spending a private weekend somewhere in their native UK before the groom's return to work next week — their romantic getaway will be within the next couple months.
"They will be going on an overseas honeymoon before Canada," a royal insider tells Us Weekly. Back in February, a St. James's Palace rep announced that the couple's first public trip as a married couple will be to Canada; that jaunt takes place June 30 to July 8.
"They will be departing [for the honeymoon] very soon," the insider says.
As the Palace announced on Saturday, William, 28, returns to work as a Search and Rescue pilot next week.
Explains the insider: "This small break is just for them to catch their breath, and catch up with work, before embarking on a trip."
But if royal watchers want to know where William and Kate, 29, are headed for that honeymoon — Jordan? Mustique? Australia? — don't expect to hear it from the palace.
"Their future honeymoon, which will be overseas, will not be disclosed in advance," Clarence House said in Saturday's statement. "The Couple have asked that their privacy be respected during the coming weekend and during their honeymoon."
