This list of celebrities is greatly incomplete, and focusses too much on personal relief efforts. With 8 billion people on this planet demanding more and more space and using more resources then ever, we are blind to see the real issues here. Yes, war is hell, yes cruelty to pets (cats,dogs and mice etc) is bad, but lets be honest here at least. We need to change our mentality towards issues and find sustainable solutions. Carrying billions of dollars of relieve to Africa has only resulted in more war over territory, higher populations that need to be fed, and bigger banks in Switzerland and other banking nations. If people do not learn to take care for themselves by good education, then what are we heading for ? Haiti is a nice case of human stupidity where there are warehouses full of supplies but no-one seems to be willing to distribute them, or start rebuilding houses. It is more easier for them to wait in their tents and complain that westerners are not helping...I am gobsmacked by worldwide media that creates this stupidity in mankind. What happened to good old fashioned neighbourhood help ? I do wonder if anyone really cares, especially these stars or that they need a tax deduction write off, of their millions of incomes.
