Candice Crawford's Engagement Ring from Tony Romo: All the Details!

Yeehaw! Dallas Cowboy Tony Romo wasn't fooling around when he proposed to love Candice Crawford Thursday night during her 24th birthday dinner in Dallas, Tex.

Crawford showed off her enormous new engagement ring in a pic posted at The33TV.com (The Dallas/Fort Worth station first reported the engagement; a rep for Romo, 30, confirmed the news exclusively to UsMagazine.com.) Check out a very similar-style platinum and diamond ring from Kirk Kara at left.
Judging from the original pic, jewelry and style expert Michael O'Connor tells Us the bride-to-be's sparkler is "one of the more romantic we've seen in celebrity engagement rings this year."

The ring features an approximate 4-carat center diamond set in platinum "surrounded by a vintage inspired design," O'Connor says. "Tony chose a band with a split platinum shank and micro pave diamonds, a feature that makes the ring more elegant."
Approximate price tag? $80,000, O'Connor tells Us.

Romo, 30, began dating Crawford (a former beauty queen and little sister to Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford) in September 2009, two months after his split with Jessica Simpson. He and Simpson, 30, dated for almost two years. Simpson herself got engaged last month to ex-NFL pro Eric Johnson.

Romo is goofy looking, and a lousy quarterback as well. Any good, not great, but good QB would be in the super bowl or close to it every year, with the offensive players Dallas has! Romo's play is shamefull!
Someone has to say it so let me be the first. Jessica Simpson castrated both Nick Lachey and Tony Romo with the help of her father. Whoever heard of Jessica Simpson before Nick Lachey married her? He was the popular one with the group 98 degrees. Now everyone is saying he bought Venessa's ring on Jessica back. I don't think so. He worked just as hard in their series as Jessica did. Jessica problem was her father didn't like her husband so she dump him. Grow up Jess, and think for yourself. You in such a hurry to find love again, you will believe anything Daddy tells you. If you think nick couldn't make you happy,think again. Then again, he seems extremely happy with his new lady love. I will keep you in my prayers, you will need them.
