After nine hilarious-slash-heartwarming seasons, How I Met Your Mother is coming to a bittersweet end on March 31. On one hand, Ted (Josh Radnor) will finally -- finally -- meet the titular mother (Cristin Milioti), and on another, fans of the CBS comedy will be left with a big, fat hole in their hearts -- and Monday lineup.

How to cope with the loss? Do as the gang would and drink your way through the final episode. Here, mix up these custom, themed drinks to drown your sorrows and dull the pain of the goodbye to the legen -- wait for it -- dary show.

1 part gin

2 parts tonic water

1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice

Lime wedge (for garnish)

Preparation: Add equal parts gin and tonic water plus lime juice to an ice-filled glass. Stir well and garnish with a lime wedge. 

The Legen...dary

1 part Sauza Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila

1/2 lime

1/2 part simple syrup

2 sage leaves (plus more for garnish)

Soda water

Cucumber slice (for garnish)

Preparation: Muddle together sage and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker or mixing glass. Squeeze in lime, add tequila, ice and stir and pour into glass. Top with soda water and garnish with sage leaf and cucumber slice.

1 part Sauza Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila

1 part lemonade

1 part Ginger Beer

1 part water

1/2 teaspoon honey

Lemon slices

Preparation: Combine lemonade, ginger beer, tequila, water, lemon slices and 1Ž2 teaspoon of honey in a glass filled with ice. Stir well to combine.

1 pint cold beer

Preparation: Pour into a tall, cold pint glass and serve in a worn-in leather booth at your favorite bar, surrounded by friends.
