Taking a break! Pregnant Chrissy Teigen ditched her bump-hugging maternity uniform while shopping in Beverly Hills with her mom on Monday, March 14.
Teigen, 30, who is expecting a baby girl with husband John Legend, opted for a flowing black maxi dress for her retail therapy session, which she belted with a sash above her growing belly. The SI Swim model also replaced her high heels, choosing comfortable flat gladiator sandals instead.
She paired the breezy ensemble with a fringe-lined black bag, a two-toned felt fedora and a pair of shades.
Her French bulldog, Pippa, was also along for the outing, obediently staying by her side while the trio exited Barneys.
Teigen typically takes her maternity fashion cues from Kim Kardashian, who famously stuck to body-con dresses, duster coats and sky-high heels throughout her pregnancy with Saint West.
“[Kim] told me to go stretchy,” Teigen explained to InStyle Australia in January. “I always wanted to be the person who showed off the bump because it looks beautiful and I think you should embrace it. Kim does that well and I love seeing that belly of hers and I know Kanye [West] does too. We’re lucky to be with men who find pregnancy sexy. Thank God!”
