Art imitating life!
Blake Lively — in character as Serena Van Der Woodsen — made a stunning bride shooting an apparent wedding scene on the NYC set of Gossip Girl on Tuesday Oct. 16.
With a man dressed as a priest standing nearby, the actress, 25, absolutely beamed in George Chakra Spring 2011 Couture gown — a gold strapless ballgown with a white tulle skirt. The fashionista star wore her hair in an updo plus drop earrings. (No word yet on who Lively's groom might be, although Penn Badgley — who Lively dated in real life, and who plays Serena's ex Dan Humphrey — was also photographed during the sequence.)
In real life, Lively — who has endorsement deals with both Chanel and Gucci — donned a custom-designed Marchesa gown for her Sept. 9 wedding to Ryan Reynolds in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
Wearing a one-of-a-kind couture Marchesa bridal gown with hand-draped silk tulle bodice adorned with crystal and rose gold embroidery, Lively looked "very gorgeous," wedding guest Martha Stewart recently gushed. The domestic doyenne (next door neighbors in Bedford, NY with Lively and Reynolds, 35) attended the nuptials alongside other celebs including singer Florence Welch and America Ferrera, Alexis Bledel and Amber Tamblyn.
"Blake has such an innate style," Georgina Chapman, who heads up the celeb-loved Marchesa brand with Keren Craig, told Us Weekly of the star's wedding day look.
"I've worked with her so many times and know her so well. She has a very clean sense of fashion . . .she was very involved."
