2011 VMAs Were MTV's Highest Ranked Awards Show Ever

Sunday night's 2011 MTV VMAs had the highest ratings for the show ever! The Los Angeles Times reports that according to Nielson Co., the audience was up 9 percent compared to last year's VMAs; 12.4 million viewers tuned in to the show -- which didn't have a host -- making it MTV's most-watched telecast ever.

The show didn't fail to deliver -- a glowingly pregnant Beyonce performed, along with Bruno Mars, Lil Wayne, and a cross-dressing Lady Gaga.
