Adele Undergoes Throat Surgery

Adele is on the mend!
The 23-year-old singer has undergone laser microsurgery to repair damaged vocal chords, Rolling Stone reports.

Dr. Steven M. Zeitels, director of Massachussetts General Hospital's Voice Center where the procedure took place, "expects Adele to make a full recovery from her laser microsurgery," the hospital said in a statement.

Last month, the "Someone Like You" singer was forced to cancel all of her remaining 2011 concerts and promotional appearances due to her throat condition. "We would like to reiterate that Adele is to undergo surgery for a hemorrhaged vocal chord," her rep told Us Weekly, shooting down internet rumors that she was suffering from cancer. "All reports regarding any other condition are 100 percent false."
