Season 8 of Love Island USA has barely begun, and the villa is already serving up the kind of jaw-dropping revelations that make the show must-watch TV.

The hit reality TV series centers around a group of singles who must pair off to live in the luxury villa, which is under constant video surveillance. The Islanders must be coupled up to remain on the show and have a chance at winning the $100,000 prize.

Kenzie Annis Surprises Corbin Mims With a Bedroom Confession

Things got steamy between Mackenzie “Kenzie” Annis and Corbin Mims during the June 8 episode of Love Island USA.

The pair grew closer during an intimate conversation about their sexual fantasies, with Corbin hinting at his interests in bed before Kenzie chimed in with a confession that caught him off guard. She revealed she likes to “do 69” with past partners, a sex position Corbin admitted he had never tried before.

Beatriz Hatz Opens Up About a 20-Year Age Gap Relationship

During a June 8 episode, Beatriz Hatz sat down with new arrival Gabriel Vasconcelos and revealed some surprising details about her dating history.

“I had two adult relationships. I dated this guy for three years but we would break up and get back together. It wasn’t healthy. He was a lot older than me,” Beatriz shared.

When Gabriel pressed her for specifics, Beatriz revealed her ex was 20 years older, meaning she dated a 45-year-old man during their on-and-off romance. Gabriel responded, sharing that he had once dated a woman 18 years his senior.

Gabriel Vasconcelos Gets Dubbed ‘Reverse Leonardo DiCaprio’

During the June 5 episode, the Islanders played a game in which they had to read out sex facts and figure out which contestant each one belonged to. One revelation stood out: an Islander had slept with someone in their 50s.

“I was out and I was having a good time with my friends. She started talking to me and she was hot as f*** for her age,” he said about his encounter with the 52-year-old woman. “We had a good night together. She had a lot of experience.”

Narrator Iain Stirling couldn’t resist comparing Gabriel to a “reverse Leonardo DiCaprio,” a reference to the Oscar winner’s dating history with younger women.

Sean Reifel’s Casting Sparks Mayoral Outrage

While the villa drama is playing out on screen, one Islander is dealing with backlash from his hometown. Sean Reifel quit the Bethlehem police force less than one year after being sworn in to film the Peacock series in Fiji, and his city’s mayor isn’t holding back.

Bethlehem Mayor J. William Reynolds called out Sean on May 29, per local outlet WHTM.

“Our police department spent a lot of time training and we paid thousands of taxpayer dollars to send him to the police academy. We are disappointed he left as we now have another vacancy in our department that is impossible to fill until next year,” Reynolds said. “I never thought I’d see the day in America where reality show participation wins out over being a police officer.”

Police Chief Michelle Kott echoed the sentiment, as reported by The Morning Call on May 30. “I love Sean, he’s a good guy, he was a great officer, but I’m disappointed. We work so incredibly hard to try to recruit the best people we can to be part of the Bethlehem Police Department.”

Kott noted Sean likely wouldn’t have been granted time off if he hadn’t quit. “At this time, I don’t think there’d be a department that would be willing to allow someone to leave for ‘x’ amount of weeks to go on a television show when everyone’s hurting right now and overtime is being
utilized to fill those gaps. Officers are getting burnt out. It’s just a bad look to me.”

Sean teased his profession in the trailer, saying, “I’m not a model, I’m not an actor, I’m a police officer actually.”
