You can take the ladies out of Real Housewives of New York, but you can't take the Real Housewives out of the ladies!
After getting fired from the hit Bravo show, Alex McCord is ready to place some blame: On Jill Zarin, also evicted from the cast.

McCord, 37, told Good Morning America Friday that Zarin, 48, "has been trying to get me off the show for a number of years. She succeeded...She's a manipulator and she's very good at feeding information to her own end."
McCord's husband Simon van Kempen added that Zarin was a "flawed woman extraordinaire...Jill sometimes is still very much stuck in junior high as the girl who was unpopular, who was bullied. And 30 years later, she's still there."

In response, a rep for Zarin tells Us Weekly: "Alex and Simon's allegations represent the type of negativity that Jill is eager to move on from. Jill will continue to take the high road and wish Alex and Simon nothing but the best."
Kelly Bensimon and Cindy Barshop were also not asked to return for the show's fifth season. Luann de Lessepps, Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan will be returning, along with not-yet-confirmed new women.

"While it is easy to play the blame game, it is our hope that Alex and Simon will eventually accept Bravo's decision and proceed with grace to the next stage in their career rather than hold on to past resentments," Zarin's rep continued. "As Jill proceeds with optimism, she is grateful to Bravo for a successful 4 year run on The Real Housewives of New York City and is focused on the national launch of her shapewear line, Skweez Couture at Lord and Taylor."

36Big mistake getting rid of Jill :( Jill made the show fun to watch and seems to be a very kind loving person. Alex and Simon needed to go, constantly starting fights in the press and on twitter and between the friends, the just seem so fake and ANNOYING. I might not watch if keep Sonja and Romona, gag
It is a wrong move for bravo to remove Jill, she is natural, not like alex, trying hard and she is so irritating and ugly. showing off with the husband simon, also trying hard to be popular... no ... way... they really look idiot both of them.. honestly.
Sonja goes on and on about the places she's been and the high class society she's mixed in. All I can say is that if she behaved then as she does on the show she must have been a huge embarrassment to her husband and a laughing stock amongst the circle of people she brags about knowing.
Glad Alex and Simon are gone. Alex only got so involved in other peoples arguments because her own persona and life is so utterly boring. Simon is a creep. Both a couple of sad wanabees. Should have got rid of Ramona, she's like trailer park trash with money. Really like LouAnn, at least she has some grace and manners even if she is sometimes condecending.
i think letting the girls go was the wrong thing to do. this is who we as the audience identifies with. i dont want to get to know new housewives you guys at bravo should have just left well enough alone
the right 3 were let go. Jill played the nasty one thinking that was what the viewers wanted...boy was she wrong. No matter what she tried to do, Ramona was/is still better than she is. And Kelly, she must have been a good girl and took all of her meds b4 they started shooting the new season. The funny thing is on occasion she would try to apply what she learned in therapy sessions on Alex. What a joke.
I loved Alex and I am sad that she's off the show. Oh well. Maybe she will get her own show.. Jill however sucks..
good residence to all of them. i just wish they had included luanne. i' sick of her royal highness. i also hope that bravo remembers that will drama is good, a caste at war would be exhausting.
Good, bad, and certainly indifferent, we must remember that these combined personalities truly stirred our emotions and raised our curiosities weekly! I think that it will be difficult in accepting a new set of BFF's per this stage in the game. The new ladies will be actresses and not our "realities stars." How much did Andy Cohen have to do with this decision? Bravo will end up asking them back. Rating will certainly plummet.
My opinion i thing you got ride 3 wonderful women Jill, Kelly & Cindy. you should of fired Romona & LuAnn... Bel

Why the Luann is not out?..
Just glad they got rid of nasty Jill. She is a terrible emotionally abusive woman. She prolly did tell the other women not to watch Bethenny's new show/ support Bethenny. And I believe kookoo Kelly is just her tool; nothing more. kelly is useless and frustrating to watch like a 10 trying to say something smart, like someone said above. Too bad about Alex. She just started to stand her ground, but she needed to work on her arugmentive style. Kelly trying to get Alex to calm down in Morocco was like watching a crazy person give advice to a therapist. Kelly on Scary Island was even too much for me; I almost couldn't stand to watch it. Again, wish they keep Alex to add a balance...GLAD JILL( her koo-for-coco-puffs-kelly-puppet) IS GONE!!!!!! It must frustrate Jill to no end, that Bethenny has this wildly successful career!
IOf ALL the RHoNY, how come this McCord is the only one that has to have her gaymusband all the time besides her? What a 'groupie'!!!!!
They need to fire the WHOLE cast. I stopped watching when Kookoo Kelly joined the cast
I'm glad they are finally getting rid of "kukucachoo" Kelly. I don't know how the producers could not see she was not all there. Cindy just did not fit in. I have no comment on the others.
Over the hill mean girls club was exactly what Jill, Kelly, Cindy and Luann was and still is as one poster put it best. Alex was real and they did not like that. I love how the haters of some create fake FB accounts to make themselves look better (aka Jill and her followers) All I can say is good riddance to Jill, Kelly and Cindy with hopefully Luann next!
I did like Jill, but couldnt stand Kelly or Ramona...not fond of anyone left on the show. I wont be watching it anymore....oh well, no loss
Sad to see Alex go. Although she was always put on the defense by the Kelly, Cindy, Jill & Luann-"mean over-the-hill girls club", she was the most down to earth, reasonably thinking person. Simon-eh....Also, why the heck are they keeping Luann???????
Those "mean" girls, Jill, Luann, Cindy and Kelly, just couldn't handle that Alex was standing up for herself and others. The "mean" girls are bullies and out for themselves, and don't care about anyone elses opinion, but their owns. That's a bully!
