Ready, set...race again!
As doctors Nat Strand and Kat Chang took home the $1 million prize Sunday to become the first all-female team to win The Amazing Race, the series has announced plans for its second all-star season, set to premiere February 20.
Subtitled "Unfinished Business," the 18th race around the world will give teams who fell short of the title another chance to compete. Among those fan favorite teams set to run the race again?
From season 16 comes cowboys Jet and Cord, models Brent and Caite and detectives from Rhode Island Louie and Michael. Also said to be competing are Harlem Globetrotters players Flight Time and Big Easy, goths Kynt and Vyxsin, Margie and Luke (season 14's mother and deaf son) and Mel and Mike White, the father and his School of Rock director son.
And judging by a promotional teaser aired Sunday, they'll have plenty of competition from Nat and Kat's fellow season 17 racers.
Father and daughter team Gary and Mallory, newly married couple Chad and Stephanie, father and son duo Michael and Kevin, singers Connor and Jonathan and the requisite "almost-quitters" Nick and Vicki were also featured in the promo. Watch the clip here.
RealityBlurred.com's Andy Dehnart reports 11 teams began racing Nov. 20, which means that viewers are left hanging as to which teams will actually make the cut.
CBS has not officially confirmed next season's participants.
