Angelina Jolie has joined Twitter!
But you won't hear any 140-character musings from the actress, 35. She's locked her account; she has no followers and isn't following anyone.

"Jolie had her people obtain the account for her so no one else could have that username," a source tells UsMagazine.com. "There was actually someone else using @AngelinaJolie but Angelina requested the account suspended and took it over."

The insider adds that the Salt star might become active on the microblogging site "later this year."

um, yeah. that's pretty much what any intelligent person would do so back that whole 'life' thing : us weekly writers : get one.
she is worried because that person using her name can slander her and make people think bad things. Like for example, when someone took ashton kutchers name on myspace this person went around telling people he as the real thing. And stupid girls sent him nudes. Now ashton has his real myspace etc. Oh and she has better things to do than tweet, like making hit movies and the such. BTW i AM TOTALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING SALT!!!

"ooh brad told me he loves me", "brad and i are so in love and we like getting freaky and loud so our kids can hear", "maddox is so scared when his mommy is getting fake beaten-up for her movies", "shiloh likes being a boy and i won't stop her"............ the fame-wh0re never passes up the opportunity to talk about her family and love-life and twitter will be the perfect platform for that, at least this way she never has to call up the paps to tell them where to meet her for photo-ops and interviews............. btw doesn't she have a youtube account? i mean she and james did post that video of her mom on there? ug at least jen isn't so tacky like that
