Anne Hathaway is set to don the skin-tight suit and razor-sharp claws as Catwoman!
The actress, 28, has been cast as Selina Kyle in the next Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises, in which Christian Bale will reprise the superhero role in the third installment of director Christopher Nolan's series.
Gushed Nolan in a statement from Warner Brothers: "I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Anne Hathaway, who will be a fantastic addition to our ensemble as we complete our story."
Nolan also announced that actor Tom Hardy (whom he directed in Inception) will play villain Bane. "I am delighted to be working with Tom again and excited to watch him bring to life our new interpretation of one of Batman's most formidable enemies."
The feline vixen was last played by Michelle Pfeiffer in 1992's Batman Returns. (Halle Berry starred in the 2004 flop Catwoman, in which the heroine's alter-ego was named Patience Phillips.)
Next up for Hathaway? Co-hosting the Oscars next month with James Franco.
