Good news for Betty White!
The 88-year-old actress' sitcom Hot in Cleveland has been renewed for a second season -- less than one month its critically-acclaimed debut on TV Land.
The series follows Valerie Bertinelli as an L.A. divorcee who realizes her chances of meeting Mr. Right are better in the Midwest -- and subsequently relocates to Cleveland with her two girlfriends (Frasier's Jane Leeves and Just Shoot Me!'s Wendie Malick).
"We are so excited that Hot in Cleveland was embraced by viewers in such a big way," Larry W. Jones, president of TV Land, tells UsMagazine.com in a statement. "We absolutely love the show and can't wait to see what hilarious new experiences these characters will encounter in the next 20 episodes."
Production for the show will begin this October; the episodes will tentatively air in January 2011.
