Brooke Burke Confirms She's In Running for DWTS Hosting Gig

Brooke Burke may be returning to Dancing With the Stars.
The former DWTS champ, 38, is in the running to be the show's next co-host.

"The news about me hosting DWTS is true," Burke Twittered Tuesday. "I am screen testing next week for the job, fingers crossed! It would be amazing 2 be back!"

The search for a new co-host -- to helm the hit ABC show alongside Tom Bergeron -- began after Samantha Harris announced she would be leaving the show to focus on her journalism career at The Insider.
If Burke -- who won the mirror ball trophy with pro partner Derek Hough during Season 7 -- gets the gig, she'll return to the dance floor for the DWTS premiere on March 22.

The new cast of celebrity competitors will be announced after The Bachelor finale on March 1.
