Desiree Hartsock is ready for redemption. The 26-year-old bridal assistant, who made it to the final four on The Bachelor with Sean Lowe, will follow in the footsteps of Emily Maynard, Ashley Hebert and Ali Fedotowsky when her reign as The Bachelorette begins May 27 on ABC.
The network released the first promo images from the series' ninth season on Friday, Apr. 19. In the pictures, Hartsock holds a bouquet of roses and flashes her megawatt grin.
When Hartsock was revealed as the new Bachelorette during The Bachelor: After the Final Rose special in early March, the brunette beauty was flustered. "I just can't even believe I'm here," she told host Chris Harrison. "I just feel so thankful."
Hartsock continued, "I'm very hopeful in all of this and I do hope to meet the man of my dreams." Weeks later, the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising graduate was photographed filming a group date near the Americana at Brand outdoor mall in Glendale, Calif.
The Bachelorette premieres Monday, May 27, at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
