Appearing on the 9th season of ABC’s The Bachelorette in 2013, Desiree Hartsock first captured America’s hearts by falling in love — and getting dumped — by Bachelor Sean Lowe.

Born on July 1, 1986 and raised in Northglenn, Colo., Hartsock moved to Los Angeles after high school and attended FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising).

In August 2013, after months competing as ABC’s Bachelorette, Hartstock accepted suitor Chris Siegfried‘s proposal during the finale episode. The couple married in January of 2015. They have two sons together, Asher, born in 2016, and Zander, born in 2019.
