Chris Siegfried

Chris Siegfried is a mortgage banker and reality TV personality best known for winning season 9 of The Bachelorette and marrying Desiree Hartsock, serving as one of the reality dating franchise’s success stories. Siegfried grew up in McMinnville, Oregon, and later built a career in the financial industry. While much of his early life was kept private before his television debut, he worked as a mortgage broker when he joined Bachelor Nation.

Siegfried rose to fame in 2013 as a contestant on season 9 of The Bachelorette. Throughout the season, he developed a strong connection with Hartsock, who had previously appeared on The Bachelor. In the finale, Hartsock chose Siegfried and accepted his proposal, making him the season’s winner.

While Siegfried is primarily known for his appearance on The Bachelorette, he has also made various appearances in media, including on shows like Entertainment Tonight, The Insider and Good Morning America.

Siegfried and Hartsock married in January 2015 in California after a two-year engagement. They share three sons: Asher (born in 2016), Zander (born in 2019) and Noah (born in 2024). The couple have remained together since meeting on The Bachelorette, making them one of the longest-lasting marriages to come out of the franchise.
