Dancing With the Stars viewers who tuned in to the ABC hit's second performance show Monday saw Nancy Grace suffer a major wardrobe malfunction, but the TV personality insists she didn't have a nip slip.
"Tonight, when we were doing our hopscotch portion of our dance, there was a little bit of movement but it did not rise to a wardrobe malfunction," the 51-year-old told Us Weekly backstage after Monday's show.
During her jive routine, the buxom HLN host spilled out of her form-fitting brown dress. After ABC quickly cut away to a static shot of the audience, Grace readjusted her dress and buried her face in partner Tristan MacManus' shoulder.
"On the European version that would be perfectly fine," DWTS host Tom Bergeron joked of the snafu.
"We have taken every precaution known to men in this dress right here," Grace told Us, referring to her slinky performance costume. "I'm talking industrial size precaution. There may have been, as Tristan said, a little bit of jiggling but there was absolutely not a wardrobe malfunction."
Grace says she took the judges' Monday night comments -- including Bruno Tonioli's jab about being "top heavy" -- in stride.
"I take it very lightly," Grace told reporters Monday. "In fact, I didn't even understand the joke last week. He said, 'Oh you brought the twins?' and I said 'Yeah, they're right over there.' I didn’t even get it."
The TV personality thought the judge was referring to her 3-year-old twins, Lucy and John.
