Birds of a feather repress their rage together! Not everyone appreciates a series of unsolicited attempts to mimic an eagle’s call in The Angry Birds Movie, as seen in Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak peek.
The upcoming film, based on the popular video game series, focuses on three flightless birds teaming up after a group of pigs infiltrate their once-peaceful island.
The footage shows Chuck (Josh Gad), Bomb (Danny McBride) and Red (Jason Sudeikis) on an exhausting journey together. During the arduous expedition, Chuck realizes that he’s not familiar with the mighty eagle’s battle cry and questions the animal’s existence.
“What would a mighty eagle battle cry sound like?” Chuck ponders. “You know what, I think I got an idea.”
Watch the video above to hear Chuck and Bomb offer their incredibly irritating attempts at imitating the majestic bird.
Bill Hader, Maya Rudolph, Peter Dinklage and Sean Penn also provide voices in the film.
Sony releases The Angry Birds Movie in theaters on Friday, May 20.
