Flipping Out's Jeff Lewis and Jenni Pulos have had their fair share of workplace disagreements on Bravo's reality series, but as the pair tell Us Weekly, their professional -- and personal -- relationship nearly reached its end thanks to an ugly spat soon to be seen on season 6.
Having to keep up with the remodel of the California home he shares with partner Gage Edward and consistently reprimand his dishonest employee, Andrew, Lewis had admittedly been on edge long before he and Pulos' spat sent shockwaves through Jeff Lewis Design. "Any time you're doing a major remodel with your spouse it's very stressful," Lewis tells Us Weekly in an exclusive interview. "Doing that and trying to balance our business was challenging and the relationship took its toll. I acted out on Gage, on Jenni, on [maid] Zoila [Chavez]. It was kind of a rough season for me."
In an effort to smooth things over with 11-year employee Pulos when they disagreed over a work-related issue, Lewis joined her in therapy -- and isn't quite convinced fans will be on his side after that episode airs. "I've never been so angry with Jenni and we've never had a fight like that. It was out of control," he explains.
Though their nasty feud will put a damper on the latest batch of episodes, Lewis and Pulos were able to put their differences aside to share in a happier moment for Pulos: Her May 2012 wedding to Chicago orthopedic surgeon Jonathan Nassos!
"I don't worry about Jenni anymore. I was worried about her last husband [former Flipping Out costar Chris Elwood]. I didn't know if he could provide for her and if she were to get pregnant I was concerned. But this guy is a standup guy," Lewis raves of his colleague's new husband, who will tie the knot with Pulos during the show's October 23 episode.
