Glee Star Signs Record Deal
Matthew Morrison has something to sing about!
The Glee star, 31, has inked a deal with Mercury Records, the label announced Thursday. His debut album hits stores next fall.
Morrison, who plays glee club mentor Will Schuester on the hit Fox series, has said that his sound is "Timberlake meets Michael Buble... me and a big orchestra, but also with beats."
The actor -- who earned a Tony nod in 2005 for his role on Broadway's The Light in the Piazza -- has said he wants “to kind of do it all... I want to have a career in movies, television, music and Broadway but have them all be separate, their own entities."
Morrison is nominated for a 2010 best actor Golden Globe for Glee.
