Exclusive: Hothead Maksim Chmerkovskiy Angers Dancing With the Stars Crew

An insider tells Us Weekly the crew is "livid" with the Russian dance pro's bad attitude. Among his missteps: bad-mouthing Derek Hough during a Good Morning America interview; telling reporters backstage on November 14, "F-ck [judge] Carrie Ann [Inaba]"; and refusing to speak to journalists after he and Hope Solo were voted off November 15. (The source claims ABC told the pro, 31, not to do press.)
"He's a poor sport," says the insider. "People are suggesting he get anger management!" Many crew members also believe "Maks' antics reflect poorly on the show."

A second insider counters that Chmerkovskiy is trying to rebuild burned bridges -- beginning with Hough, 26.

"Maksim and Derek have patched things up after their big feud," the second source tells Us. "They are fine with each other now."
Chmerkovskiy's manager and ABC had no comment.

56I admire Maks for being bold enough to stand up to the judges. They were extremely rude and cruel to the stars and the professionals this year. Leave all that to Simon Cowell who is the best at it. You do not have the finesse to carry it out. Thank you Maks for speaking up for those who were bulled this year.
First of all, there was never a 'feud" with Derek and Maks. BOTH of them said as much and even took a photo holding your ridiculous magazine. You made that up. Secondly, Conrad Green, the producer of Dancing with the Stars was recently quoted as saying "Maks is not in trouble with us, he is a really, really nice guy." Maks' bad boy image is all part of that show. It brings in the ratings. Why do you think he got more camera time in the audience on Monday than most of them get on the floor. Your magazine has zero credibility to me after seeing the crap you write about Chmerkovskiy. You've obviously got some catty writer on staff with a grudge.
The only reason I didn't watch Dancing with the Stars this season, is because I didn't know who half of the 'stars' are, and I'm so sick and tired of Len INSULTING people, not judging them. Judge their dancing, don't insult them. Maks had every right to stand up for himself and Hope that night.
So he can dance? So can many others with much more dignity and class than he will ever have, Time to make way someone more befitting of the position, I say.
After watching all seasons of Dancing with the Stars, I decided not to watch tonights finals - in a protest.
100% agree with Linda Morgan & Denise Cochrane. However, will add - pro dancers and stars make the show - judges (specially CarrieAnn) don't. And to Joan - with all do respect - CarrieAnn is full of herself, not Maks. Prostarts are working very very hard - judges don't.
Maks is full of himself.Hope was pathetic to watch so why he had to fake like she was so much better than her scores,never made sense to me.
You lot are giving me a migrane!!! It's a f***in SHOW for goodness sake.... get over it!!! They need to fill the magazine's with bull****.. and ABC just want $$$$.... so there ya go. In a nut shell. If you don't like it, lump it!!

This, like many showson the air right now, has been on WAY too long and needs to go. I have attempted to watch this show and I think all of the regular dancers and the judges have become too big for their britches. It's not about the dancing anymore it's about them being "known" and "stars". They are all so self important and narcissistic. If it weren't for this show no one would know who they are. Bad mannerisms and bad critiquing has become the norm on TV. Get rid of it and bring back some good wholecome TV. Just My Humble Opinion.
The scoring and judging sucks. We all know who the judges faves are - Derek and Ricki and Rob-shake-his-butt-in-CarrieAnn's-face. She needs to grow up. She is far from being a teenager and certainly does not act like a dance judge. But then neither do the other two. The comments they made to Maks and Hope were totally uncalled for. Yes, Maks is a hot head but his comments and blow up at the judges was exactly right. He said all the things I wish I could say to them. And Hope's "off the dance floor" comments were also spot on. Maks is frustrated because he KNOWS who the butt-kisser is and that blondie guy is most likely going to win. Although I don't see what is so hot about him. He's disgusting. Give me the dark good looks of Maks. Or Tony. Or Tristan. Or Val.
Maks is a hot-headed, egotistical whiner. Maybe now that he' s off the show, everyone can focus on the DANCING instead of wondering if Maks is going to show his ass AGAIN!
FIRE HIM!!! DUMP HIS ASS!! Watching the show with him and his crappy attitude is a turn off, now that he's off for the season I am finally enjoying the show!

What a terrible shame Max can't voice his opinion....which BTW seems to be "spot on"!!! He's incredible, Hope Solo has done an amazing job with him as her teacher, Carrie Ann has to get over that crush she seems to have on Rob C.(her BF has to be wondering WT????), and grudges over people speaking their feelings.....get over yourselves judges!!!!
I am in full agreement with Maxim. Come on, Hope may not have been the best dancer, but she was trying harder each week and they continuously put her down, finding flaws and nit picking. Max felt they should be "building her up" and so he made a face. Then Len blamed Max saying it was HIS fault. Carrie Ann then chimes in with her pompous attitude.... let us see HER dance, once, pleeeease! They kept a grude going and gave them low scores the next night even though Maxim and Hope did the best Argentine Tango on the show.... Bitter and unfair judges...
Behind Maks 100%!!! Maks did not start either of the arguments....the judges did!! Why are they not being criticized in the media?!?!?! Derek looks like a little boy and will never be half the man Maks is!!! The only reason people are attacking him is because he stood up for what he believed in. It's about time those judges get put in their place. Maks you are a babe and amazing dancer. Without you this show would not be where it is!!
TEAM MAKS all the way. Len STARTED the first argument and Carrie Ann STARTED the 2nd one. The judges put Hope Solo in the crossfire of THEIR feud with Maks.
sorry I have always liked Maks but come on, he shoud know that Hope was a bad dancer. She reminded me of Shannon Elizabeth dancing! They must have had something going on, on the side for him to get so offensive to them not giving her good critiques (sp?). she just wasn't good and I can't believe she lasted as long as she did. When she made that comment of "The judges have wanted me off the show since day 1..." I thought "UH YEAH! cause you look funny dancing!" Sorry if thats mean but hey I would look the same way up there dancing, therefore if I was ever on a dnacing show I wouldn't be surprised by the judges comments.
