Kyle Cooke upped his summer fun levels while filming season 11 of Summer House as a newly single man — and fans will get a front-row seat for all the action.
“I did have a fun summer,” Kyle, 44, exclusively told Us on Monday, October 19, while promoting his partnership with Bumble for its new promotional campaign introducing “Bumble Handles” to the dating app.
The reality star, who announced his split from estranged wife Amanda Batula in January, revealed, “I definitely didn’t want to rush into a relationship without kind of getting out there and actually having some fun without any type of ramifications.”
Kyle noted that while filming the Bravo reality series over the summer, he sort of “tippy-toed” back into the dating scene.
“You’ll see a little bit of that on Summer House. Me just trying to navigate, you know, hookups and friends with benefits and, like, ‘What are we?’ Those types of conversations,” Kyle teased.
The DJ noted that although his “goal was just to have a fun summer,” he did “kind of put myself out there” while in the Hamptons.
Us previously confirmed that Kyle had a PDA-filled night with The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Meghan King in early spring. An insider told Us in June that he was “hooking up” with Southern Charm’s Salley Carson before he was spotted spending time with Next Gen NYC’s Ava Dash in July. It is unclear whether any of those flings will play out on Summer House.

Kyle confessed on Monday that jumping back into the dating world — and online dating — after a 10-year relationship was “a little bit of a mindf***.”
Luckily, Kyle’s housemates KJ Dillard and Carl Radke were also unattached during the upcoming season, so they had each other’s backs.
“You’ll see KJ and I had a ton of fun this summer,” Kyle shared. “There’s a new guy that is extremely social. We somehow brought someone on that’s even more social than me, [so] we have a ton of fun.”
He pointed out that he’s “always” been the “wingman” after coupling up with Amanda, 35, during season 1 of Summer House and eventually marrying her in 2021.
“Most of my friends know me as the guy that’s been in this long relationship and didn’t see too much of my ex,” Kyle explained. “When I was out, I was usually without her, and that was, like, how they knew me. You know, so now I’m, like, out and about, and Kyle 2.0.”
Fans met Kyle and Amanda on season 1 of Summer House, which aired in 2017. At the time, Kyle was a main cast member while Amanda was his girlfriend, who was eventually promoted to a full-time cast member.
The pair weathered many storms during their relationship, including Kyle cheating on Amanda ahead of their engagement. Kyle and Amanda tied the knot in September 2021, but their marriage had its own set of challenges.

In January, Kyle and Amanda announced their separation after four years of marriage. The following month, Amanda sparked romance rumors with their costar West Wilson but denied they were anything other than friends.
In late March, West, 31, and Amanda released their own joint statement, confirming they had become romantically involved.
The scandal sent shockwaves through the Bravoverse even though Amanda and West denied there was any overlap between their respective relationships with Kyle and Ciara Miller, whom West dated in 2023 and got cozy with again during summer of 2025 and into that fall.
Amid the backlash over their romance, Us confirmed that neither West nor Amanda would be returning to Summer House for season 11. Kyle and Ciara, 30, however, came back alongside OG stars Lindsay Hubbard and Carl, 41, as well as KJ, 28, Mia Calabrese and Jesse Solomon.
In addition to filming the show, Kyle has been busy with his DJ career and trying to find love again, which he said made it an easy choice to team up with Bumble for their new “Bumble Handles” campaign. (Bumble users can now create unique handles as a way to help ease conversations in real life, and give strangers a way to connect without exchanging phone numbers.)
Kyle, whose handle is @loverboy, told Us on Monday, “I was a Bumble user, I don’t know, 10 years ago, and, you know, it’s been a busy decade.”

When the partnership opportunity came along, Kyle said he thought it was “really cool” to have handles, which caught his attention.
“I am a very social guy. I love meeting people out in the wild, whether I’m at a bar or hanging with friends,” he explained. “And I feel like handles it makes it an easy way to kind of keep the connection going in real life without having to ask for their number or give your number or being like, ‘Hey, why don’t you DM me on social?’”
Kyle added, “I think there’s just like a number of unique instances where this makes way more sense than just doomscrolling and not getting outside. [And] feeling a little more confident about your privacy and whatnot.”
