An American Idol semi-finalist was booted out of the Top 24 over the weekend.
The cut came after Michael "Bike Mike" Lynche's father reportedly confirmed to the local St. Petersburg Times that his son had made the semi-finals, the New York Post reports (via Idol spoiler blog Joe's Place).
