Awkward -- or not?
Backstage at Sunday's Emmy Awards at the Staples Center in L.A., Charlie Sheen introduced himself to Ashton Kutcher -- his replacement on Two and a Half Men.
Sheen, 46, shook hands with a visibly nervous Kutcher, 33 -- and then Tweeted about it, naturally.
"Giving the new kid a little advice!" he wrote, then direct-messaging fellow microblogger Kutcher. "[G]reat talking to you! We'll all be watching! Make us proud!"
Presenting an Emmy onstage, Sheen was similarly kinder and chiller than he was earlier this year, at the height of a media frenzy surrounding his firing from the CBS hit and his off-screen antics with porn stars, among other things.
"I want to take a moment to get something off my chest and say a few words to everybody here from Two and a Half Men," Sheen said as the crowd chuckled nervously. "From the bottom of my heart, I wish you nothing but the best for this upcoming season. We spent eight wonderful years together, and I know you will continue to make great television."
