Jennifer Aniston: "People Laugh at Me"

Jennifer Aniston admits she's often the butt of jokes.
"People laugh at me. Sometimes I know why, and sometimes I don't," the 41-year-old actress tells the September issue of Harper's Bazaar, in which she channels 68-year-old Barbra Streisand's iconic poses from Funny Girl and What's Up, Doc?

Continues Aniston, "But I can pretty much find humor in anything. That is a necessary part of life. I don't want to say laughter is healing, because it sounds corny, but it's a release.”
Aniston compares herself to Streisand.
"[Barbra and I] are people who have been put in the spotlight, for better or for worse, and you just keep riding, and you keep overcoming," she says.

Barbra is one of the most talented artists of all time, she can act, sing, dance, do comedy...Jennifer mugs for the camera and plays the same role every time, and it's one anybody else could play. The rest of the time she does interviews where she whines about her life. Comparing herself to Barbra...what utter gall!
August 05, 2010 - 1:54pm Beth.. Yes, Brad chose her as his wife and then divorced her. In an interview he claimed he left her because life was too short to waste it somewhere you were not satisfied. And that since you only get one shot at life.. it needs to be all that it can be. Meaning? Life was too short and important to waste it poolside, sunbathing and smoking pot with Jen. But you are correct.. she so far has been the only one to cliam the title MRs Brad Pitt back when he believed in marriage.. some where in the middle of his married life his belief in marriage and happily ever after died. And now he isn't sure marriage is a good idea to anyone.. gee I wonder if being married to Jen has anything to do with that change of perspective? Hmmmmm..
Jen makes it on the Forbes top earning actresses because although she is cheap at 7 million a picture.. she has no children or lover/husband to occupy her time so therefore she is able to churn out three movies a year. Then add the TV syndication for Friends and the voila! Mystery soved. If Jolie wasn't so busy with 6 kids and had made two mives in one year vs one.. then her take home paycheck would have been $40 mil vs 20 mil. Jen has to make three to equal the payday of just one Jolie film.
Salt bombed? It made more in it's three day opening weekend then Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz's Knight & Day did in its six day opening weekend. And Salt has already made back it's production budget.. so how is that a bomb?

I WANT THIS WOMAN'S LIFE. And here is why..She is gorgeous, healthy, wealthy, and FREE to do whatever she wants and whenever she wants. She is warm, has tons of friends, incredibly loyal fans and been some of HW's hottest men. Heck, even Brad Pitt CHOSE HER to be his wife. As far as I know she is still the one and only Mrs. Brad Pitt. But that doesn't matter. An independent woman who does not need to have six children to feel fulfilled!! Having children is not for everybody. You are responsible and worry about them until the day you die. It ages you, and it is very stressful. I am just being honest here. IMO Jen seems to have it all. No worries!!Girl has got it all!!

Barbra is an outstanding, gifted actress and singer! Jennifer is neither of those things, she is a not-quite-mediocre actress in silly, airhead roles but she couldn't possibly handle a serious role. Comparing Jennifer to Barbra Streisand -NO WAY!
I love Jen & those who calls her needy are Jolie's fans. Don't know why anyone would defend Jolie though. Anyway, Jen does just fine.
