Jersey Shore Cast to Return for Second Season

The cast of MTV's breakout hit, Jersey Shore, will film a second season. The network announced late Friday that they have ordered 12 episodes that will begin airing this summer.

Everyone's favorite guidos, including DJ Pauly D, Mike "The Situation," Snooki, J-Woww, Sammi, Ronnie and Vinny, have all signed on after weeks of salary negotiations.
"Our audience has fallen in love with Jersey Shore and its amazing cast who have really grown together as a family," Tony DiSanto, MTV’s president of programming, said in a statement. "That bond gives the show its heart, and we’re thrilled to reunite these friends."

Still, don't expect them to be back at their Jersey Shore beach house. According to a network statement, the group will "escape the cold northeast and find themselves in a new destination."

For those who missed out on the wildly successful reality show -- the No. 1 original cable series in January among viewers aged 12 to 34 -- MTV plans to air the complete first season before the Super Bowl kickoff on Feb. 7.

News flash!...if you don't like the show then don't watch it...obvious you like it, other wise you wouldn't take time out of your day to make a comment about a show you don't like. This show is better then the superficial show The Hills.
I like Jersey Shore it's very entertaining and funny!! lol. I'm sickened that MTV doesn't think their cast is worth as much as the Hills cast. Nobody controls where they were born. MTV sucks!!
I'll watch it. I missed all episodes except the last two and the reunion. I loved it. I honestly don't know why so many people were freaking out about this show. It is NO different than "The Real World"! I hope MTV does re-runs of Jersey Shore so I can see what I missed. :)
