Keeping tabs on Timberlake! Jessica Biel tackled many roles while working on her upcoming movie, The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea — and one was working alongside her husband, Justin Timberlake. The actress dished on collaborating with her superstar spouse while attending the film's NYC premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on Thursday, April 14.
Biel, 34, stars in the drama, which centers on an architect who helps a homeless teen following his wife's death. Biel's other role as a producer also gave her the opportunity to bring Timberlake on board as a music composer.
"He's much better left to his own devices. I mean, I like to say that I was his boss, but I wasn't really acting as his boss. So we had a good working relationship," Biel joked to Entertainment Tonight outside the John Zuccotti Theater.
"[There are] so many more things to take care of, so many more hats to wear. Problems you have to fix," she added of producing the project. "Normally, [as an actor] you just come to set and don't have to worry about any of the problems. I don't have to worry about if the money is there. I don’t have to worry about if the cast is happy."
Biel was pregnant with the couple's son, Silas, now 12 months, when she filmed the flick in New Orleans last year. The Au Fudge mastermind and the "Mirrors" singer, 35, also walked the red carpet together on Thursday night. Mixing business with pleasure, they got ready together and shared a silly selfie as they made their way to the event.
"Half asleep but loving @harryjoshhair and his magic green wand. @tribeca here we come! #devilandthedeepbluesea," Biel captioned one Instagram photo from the makeup chair. She added in a second pic with Timberlake: "#Stankface #tribeca2016."
