Jill Zarin Tells Us: I Wasn't Fired From Real Housewives of NYC

Hours after The Huffington Post reported Jill Zarin and her fellow Real Housewives of New York City cast members Cindy Barshop, Kelly Bensimon and Alex McCord would be axed from the Bravo hit's upcoming fifth season, Zarin is setting the record straight.

"Jill has not been fired from The Real Housewives of New York City. The truth is that Jill is still in discussions with Bravo for season 5 and hasn't made a final decision about returning to the show," a rep for the 47-year-old reality star told Us Weekly Thursday afternoon.

Should the internet casting rumors be true, LuAnn de Lesseps, Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan would be the only season 4 cast members to remain on the series, with additional new women being added to the mix at a later date.

Singer -- who used the series to aid in the launch of her Ramona pinot grigio line -- is reportedly in the middle of negotiating a new contract, while a Huffington Post source says McCord and Bensimon were notified by the network Thursday morning that pink slips would be coming their way.

Just glad they got rid of nasty Jill. She is a terrible emotionally abusive woman. She prolly did tell the other women not to watch Bethenny's new show/ support Bethenny. And I believe kookoo Kelly is just her tool; nothing more. kelly is useless and frustrating to watch like a 10 trying to say something smart, like someone said above. Too bad about Alex. She just started to stand her ground, but she needed to work on her arugmentive style. Kelly trying to get Alex to calm down in Morocco was like watching a crazy person give advice to a therapist. Kelly on Scary Island was even too much for me; I almost couldn't stand to watch it. Again, wish they keep Alex to add a balance...GLAD JILL( her koo-for-coco-puffs-kelly-puppet) IS GONE!!!!!! It must frustrate Jill to no end, that Bethenny has this wildly successful career!
I dont want to see Alex Go Bring her back next season and has far as Jill, Kelly and Cindy Great decision!!! Bring ALEX back Ramona and Sonja!!
They need to fire the entire cast except for Sonja and Alex...Too many MEAN GIRLS in one place. I actually stopped watching regularly when Bethany left. She was the only one of the bunch, except for Alex, that I found interesting. I don't think I could bear another season of Ramona's hystrionics...Jill's poisonous jabs, Luann's snobbery, and Kelly's craziness. As Anderson Cooper stated on WATCH WHAT HAPPENS LIVES, he knows alot of nice women in NYC that would be enjoyable to watch. These gals are nothing more that wealthy MEAN GIRLS.

This is a woman who was unable to 'own' any negative behavior, despite her claim to the contrary.... she is a bully plain and simple. While we plead for tolerance from our children to stop the bullying, this woman is a mean girl. So long, adios, goodbye, ciao.... you won't be missed Jill Zarin. Bravo to Bravo for doing what needed to be done.

I can't stand Alex and also, Ramona of late, as they have both driven me nuts, as they try to act like they are teenagers, but more than anything, they just don't make the show very good' Sonja loves to show her body off (I don't know why!) and is always playing the exhibitionist-type! I love Jill, Luann and Kelly and wish they would be more up front in the stories. Alex's husband is a nut case and shouldn't be allowed on at all!
I think that Jill , Kelly and Luann need a show together. I can't stand Alex and her weird husband Simon and Ramona the hypocrite who should be embarrassed by the way she acts. What parent thinks its ok to throw a birthday party for her daughter and then invite grown people to party with them where alcohol is being served in an area close to the kids, as well as have a bed on sight. And she had the nerve to tell Luann she was a bad parent.
Thank God they are FINALLY getting rid of that DUMBASS KELLY!!!! How she got to be a model or even on the shoW is a mystery to me....she is UGLY AND AN IDIOT!!!!!
i love the nyc housewives but if ur going to get rid of anyone make it the boring and dull kelly whats her name. she adds absolutely nothing to the show and never has. she is dumb dumb dumb and of all the models that are considered the IT girls believe me no one knows who she is in the real world. i do miss bethany but bravo to her she is moving on. cindy is anothe nothing person so get rid of those two and ur on target.
I am shocked. Bravo has made some huge mistakes, but getting rid of Jill? Forget about it! She is the core of that show. How stupid! It's bad enough that we're losing Alex, but Jill? I don't know WHAT they're thinking. I didn't like Cindy, but the rest of the cast is a unit and Jill is the main character! Leave it alone, Bravo. You'll be sorry when the ratings drop!
I have never liked loudmouth Kelly! Jill I did not care for how she treated Bethenny. So I say good riddance!!!!!!
The show was never the same after they ran Bethenny away , Good job Jill.You ruined the show. So go back on your sister"s boring radio show and give out bad advice. How is your daughter ? still huge?
I say it's time for Jill, LuAnn, and Kelly to go.... I use to watch the show faithfully , now I turn it off.. We all expect some drama but this has gotten out of hand. Jill I don't know what happened to you , you where my favorite Housewife , but the last 2 seasons (since Kelly and Luann rule you) I can't stand the three of you.. SO Bravo get rid of the damaged goods and keep Alex, Ramona, Sonja and even Cindy. I think Bethany was the smartest out of all the Housewives.. I love her and her happy family.. I want to see more of them...

Kelly and her admit to the world it was all a lie i'm not crazy self and jealous self and Cindy who Bravo could have found a more interesting character self and finally Alex and her drunk behind husband and I want to be u Alex self. It was strange to me that the Morocco trip was not an indication to ramona and whoever went on the Ramona's vacation getaway that it was all about pay back. That pack of wolves............ are just sorry. Goodbye.
I can live with this ----- Jill is still a mean girl, Cindy really too much class to be around this group of women and Kelly is still crazy, but it seems to me she has found a really good therapist
