They're baaack! Jimmy Fallon is gearing up to host Saturday Night Live for the second time on Dec. 21, and has his buddy Justin Timberlake is on hand to perform. The Saturday Night Live alum, 39, and Timberlake, 32, get silly in new promos for their upcoming appearances on the show this weekend.
In the funny clips, Fallon makes the "Suit & Tie" crooner stand as far back as possible from the camera, refuses to let him overshadow him while singing Christmas carols, and yells at him for cursing. The two also get excited as they come to terms that their collaboration is really "happening!"
Indeed, Fallon and Timberlake have taken the NBC stage many times before. Fallon -- who's set to replace Jay Leno on the Tonight Show in 2014 -- was a castmember from 1999 to 2004. Timberlake will be performing as musical guest for the fifth time.
Working together isn't new for these two, either. In March, Timberlake joined Fallon on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon for an entire week as he promoted his album, The 20/20 Experience. Five months later, the "Mirrors" star headed back again for "Timberweek."
"What's better than Shark week this week?" Timberlake wrote as he announced the news via Facebook at the time. "?#Timberweek? all next week on The Jimmy Fallon Show !!! Get ready…."
