Holy cow, for reals! After months of anticipation, it was finally revealed on Monday, Mar. 9, that Bachelor Chris Soules (aka "Prince Farming") gave Whitney Bischoff his final rose — and an engagement ring. But after reuniting with runner-up Becca Tilley, it was clear that the awkward moment needed to be followed with some humor. Enter: Jimmy Kimmel.
After cracking a few jokes (like Tilley was never really into Soules), the late-night host surprised Soules and Bischoff, 29, with a cow during The Bachelor's After the Final Rose.
"Do you know what's happening?" Soules, 33, asked host Chris Harrison.
"I have no — oh!" Harrison replied. Bischoff, after seeing the cow come out from backstage, gasped: "What?!"
Kimmel also poked fun of ABC's season 18 Bachelor, who often had a hard time saying "I love you," but said "It's okay" an awful lot. He quipped: "This cow's name is Juan Pablo [Galavis]."
The hilarious gesture is the perfect present for the Iowa native, who even proposed to Bischoff in his family's barn. (As he put it in the taped episode, "I'm standing where I raised my first pig.") Bischoff's bubbly personality made the gift a no-brainer as well. During the season, she often gushed "Holy cow!" during date nights and when she walked out on stage for ATFR.
Up next, the cow will probably have to stay back in Iowa without his new parents. As Us Weekly exclusively revealed, Soules will be partnered with another Witney — Witney Carson — on Dancing With the Stars. The hunky farmer confirmed the news himself on Good Morning America on Tuesday.
