Total chaos! Trouble is brewing when John Cena and girlfriend Nikki Bella start living with her twin sister, Brie, and husband Daniel Bryan, as seen in the new trailer for Total Bellas‘ series premiere on Wednesday, October 5.
The E! show’s promo, exclusive to Us Weekly, features the four WWE personalities sharing a home in the suburbs of Tampa, Florida. As the season kicks off, Cena, 39, and Nikki, 32, are out of commission due to injuries, while Daniel, 35, has recently retired from competing in the ring. (Total Bellas is a spinoff of Total Divas, which aired its season 5 finale in April.)
The housing arrangement causes tempers to quickly flare, as Cena can be heard saying, “Is this where Bryan tells us how to live again?” (Brie’s husband’s actual name is Bryan Lloyd Danielson.)
Brie’s relationship with Bryan appears to get tested in another scene, and she tells her man, “I really thought that there was a light at the end of the tunnel for you.” She also opens up about their problems in the bedroom.
Meanwhile, the sisters butt heads at one point in the clip. “John has been honest since day one,” Nikki tells her twin. Brie fires back, “And you don’t think Bryan has?”
In a lighter moment, Cena agrees to teach Brie to drive stick shift, which is an offer he seems to quickly regret.
Nikki, who wears a neck brace throughout the footage, underwent surgery in February for a herniated disk, and the season will show her recovery process.
