While Jon Gosselin hit France with 22-year-old Hailey Glassman, his ex Kate stayed in rural Pennsylvania with their eight kids. On Saturday, Kate was spotted picking up groceries at a supermarket near her home in Wernersville, Pa. Later, she and her eight kids lunched on the front lawn of the $1.1 million home.

Kate, incidentally, was still wearing her wedding ring. After announcing their split on their June 22 reality show, Kate said she will remain at their $1.1 million home, and "Jon will also come here when it is his days, and we will flip-flop that way."

Though she said this is not what she wants for their kids, "My goal is peace." With tears in her eyes, she added, "If peace needs to be brought about by this, then I'm in agreement."

Although he was sad about their split, Jon said: "I'm only 32 years old. I don't know what's going to happen." He also said he is "excited" about starting a new chapter in his life.
