On the new show, celebrity contestants will reenact famous routines from past music videos, movies and musicals.
"The competition will be hot -- and hilarious -- as teams of celebrities pay comedic homage to famous dances while competing for a $250,000 grand prize for their favorite charity," the show's site reads. "The show will include single dancers, duos and groups, all competing against each other to wow a panel of judges and viewers across America who will be voting each week leading up to the series finale."
The two-time Emmy winner, 48, will host the live weekly dance-off that will run for five episodes only.
The panel of judges and celebrity participants will be announced in the next couple of weeks.
