Kellan Lutz: Eclipse Fan Tried "to Handcuff Herself" to Me

Kristen Stewart may worry that Twilight Saga fans might "assassinate" her on the red carpet -- but her costar Kellan Lutz has slightly different Twi-hard encounters.
"A fan came to me with handcuffs and wanted to handcuff herself to me," Lutz told UsMagazine.com at Thursday's Eclipse premiere in London. "I was like, 'Oh! Interesting...'"

That wasn't the hunky 25-year-old's last kinky interaction. After he shared the handcuff tale with the press, "another fan later came to me and upped the ante," he said, "and brought some furry ones. [She] opened her robe up and had a little outfit on. That was fun!"

But Lutz -- who plays vampire Emmett Cullen in the saga -- doesn't mind red carpet hysteria. "I love this!" he gushed Thursday. "This is my first premiere in London, and I couldn't have asked for a better one. And I love the accents!"

The star (and beau to AnnaLynne McCord) doesn't take the global Twilight phenomenon for granted. "It really is an actor's dream. I give it all up to God for putting me here...It's been so much fun!"

Not a fan of Twilight by any means and it IS refreshing to see someone being grateful for the attention and success. But by the same token, I CAN understand why Kristen and Rob are so bothered by the media, fans and their personal lives being on display for everyone tos ee. Yes, it comes with the territory. But, that doesn't mean it's right or that they're somehow ungrateful or that it should be every actor's dream. If I were an actress, I would be just as annoyed. I don't like people knowing my business, especially when it has nothing to do with them.

I think it is refreshing that someone is grateful for the fans and being priviledged. It feels like Kristen and Rob are just so bothered by the media and fans and their personal lives being out there, but it comes with the territory and it should be every actor's dream!
